About the Position:

Teaching Personnel is in search of a committed and empathetic Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to become part of our team in Newton Abbot. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a nurturing and vibrant educational setting. As a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, your contribution will be vital in assisting students with diverse requirements, enabling them to reach their maximum potential both academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children with SEN is highly preferred.
  • A patient, nurturing, and understanding demeanor when engaging with students who have additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

All pay rates quoted will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role becoming available later.
