Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 1 Operator

We are in search of a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 1 Operator to transport powered access equipment using a low loader truck. This position offers an excellent chance to become part of the foremost company in powered access solutions in the UK, with extensive training provided.
As a Class 1 HGV Operator, we seek individuals who hold the required licenses and CPC certification, enjoy engaging with clients, demonstrate strong customer service abilities, and prioritize health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload equipment in accordance with company procedures and utilizing appropriate tools.
- Ensure the security of loads during transit and delivery.
- Deliver equipment to clients and provide necessary operational guidance.
- Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Comply with vehicle safety standards, tachograph regulations, and working time directives.
- Address client inquiries and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Accurately complete all required documentation.
Candidate Profile:
- Must possess a Class 1 HGV license and a valid CPC card.
- Experience with low loader vehicles is advantageous, though training can be offered.
- Comprehension of exceptional customer service and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of HGV vehicle safety and maintenance practices.
