As a Data Test Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software solutions. You will lead a team of data and software testers, overseeing all aspects of testing from design to execution.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of data and software testers, including offshore resources. Ensure the team has the necessary tools, access, and support to succeed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing activities within program business units. Collaborate closely with project managers and agile teams to align testing efforts with project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and evaluation reports that clearly articulate testing objectives, methodologies, and results.
  • Execute test cases effectively and meticulously assess test results to identify any defects or areas for improvement.
  • Assign and monitor the progress of tickets assigned to other data testers, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance testing processes and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and processes for project methodologies (e.g., MR Essentials) and ensure compliance with relevant IT controls.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software and/or data testing within the financial services industry. Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to create traceability matrices that map test scenarios and test cases to requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Quality Center or VSTS.
  • Strong understanding of Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Estimates, and Test Case design principles.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analytical functions. Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
  • ITIL or ISTQB certification (or willingness to pursue certification) is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile project environment.
