BIM Manager Role Overview

Ashbys Consulting is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to lead the development and implementation of our BIM strategy across the company. As a BIM Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful adoption of BIM across our projects, working closely with design teams, REVIT MEP teams, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive BIM strategy aligned with company goals and industry standards
* Lead the coordination of BIM activities across large projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between design teams and REVIT MEP teams
* Provide technical guidance and support to REVIT MEP teams, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality BIM outputs
* Collaborate with commercial and project directors to ensure BIM is integrated into project delivery
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors

Requirements:

* Relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in a related field
* Strong practical experience of using BIM applications within an engineering or construction environment
* Excellent understanding of BIM Level 2 standards, LOD, FM requirements, and Asset Information
* Proven experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
* Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
