Role Overview:

Tate is seeking a skilled Web Designer & Front-End Developer to join their dynamic Design Implementation Department. This role involves designing and building websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within a bespoke Page Builder platform. You'll work closely with clients to deliver visually appealing, functional websites that meet their expectations and industry best practices.

This is a Hybrid role currently working three days a week in the office based in Stevenage and offers a competitive salary dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive websites.
  2. Engage with clients throughout the design process, ensuring successful website launches.
  3. Enhance website elements using JavaScript/jQuery.
  4. Optimise website performance and efficiency.
  5. Conceptualise and wireframe website designs.
  6. Communicate project progress and manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in web design, graphic design, or a related field.

  4. Strong understanding of web design principles, typography, and layout techniques.
