We are committed to maintaining high standards in the properties we manage and are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi-Trades Person to join our dynamic maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting carpentry tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Performing plumbing duties, such as repairs, installations, and maintenance of plumbing systems, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Applying plaster to walls and ceilings and conducting repairs as needed, utilizing knowledge of trade-specific techniques and materials.
  • Addressing general maintenance issues, including painting, tiling, and other tasks as required, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to complete comprehensive property projects, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and work orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment for self and others.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used, utilizing knowledge of record-keeping and reporting procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, and general maintenance, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, with knowledge of trade-specific techniques and materials.
  • Knowledge of trade-specific techniques, materials, and safety protocols, with a strong emphasis on compliance and adherence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, with a strong emphasis on safety and well-being.
  • Experience working in social housing is desirable, with knowledge of the sector and its challenges.
  • Valid driver's license, with a strong emphasis on safe driving practices.
