Ecologist Consultant

£40-45 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a very busy and interesting local authority planning department.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in commenting on planning applications and advising Planning Management officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise Planning Management officers on planning applications by responding to planning consultation requests and supporting colleagues through advice on Biodiversity Net Gain.
• Support the Biodiversity and Nature Recovery Lead Officer and Planning Policy team by providing input and advice into the delivery of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy through Biodiversity Net Gain.

Working Arrangements:

Mainly working from home, with possible attendance at the office required 1 day a week.
