About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM software
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis and design to meet industry standards and project objectives
  • Prepare and present technical reports to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver water company hydraulic modelling projects
  • Conduct checks on technical reports and calculation outputs
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering, geography, or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  • Substantial experience in modelling urban drainage and wastewater systems
  • Proficiency in using InfoWorks ICM modelling software
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic analysis and design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Chartered Membership of relevant professional organisation
  • Ability to coordinate third party suppliers for survey delivery and data collection
