Role Overview

As a key player in the BT Group, you will be responsible for steering multiple initiatives within the transformation program. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our supply chain and operational models for the next decade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage various workstreams within the transformation initiative.
  • Design and oversee the future operating model for the BT group supply chain, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
  • Analyze and define the necessary physical network, processes, and technologies to support current and future business needs.
  • Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to develop and validate a comprehensive roadmap for the pan-BT supply chain.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple projects, providing hands-on leadership where necessary and ensuring effective governance across cross-functional teams.
  • Assist senior leadership in formulating the long-term supply chain strategy.
  • Document and implement project plans, including engagement strategies and performance metrics.
  • Mentor team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in supply chain management.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and implement controls to mitigate them.

Essential Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven history of using data-driven approaches to enhance operational efficiency.
  • In-depth understanding of supply chain and logistics functions, including conceptual logistics and warehouse modeling.
  • Extensive experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Proven track record in managing transformational projects and developing business cases.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in both independent and collaborative environments.
