Job Title: Performance Pathway Manager

Job Summary:

RYA Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the development and delivery of our pathway program for sail racing. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of competitive sailing environments and experience in performance coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to introduce and nurture sailors within the performance pathway.
  • Work collaboratively with the Participation and Development Team and Coach Education Team to deliver high-quality coaching and training programs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including class associations, clubs, and the sportscotland Institute of Sport, to ensure the best outcomes for sailors and coaches.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive performance pathway program that aligns with RYA Scotland's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in competitive sailing environments.
  • Proven track record of performance coaching and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Salary of £34-37,000 dependant on experience, for 35 hours per week.
  • Benefits package includes 10% pension contribution and life insurance, free RYA Membership and associated preferential staff discounts.
  • 26 days annual leave plus public holidays.
