Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team at Clearline Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our team to achieve daily operational goals and objectives
- Ensure accurate and efficient Goods Receipt and storage of stock in designated areas
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks to meet business needs and deadlines
- Update inventory levels and track stock movements to maintain accurate records
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles and general handling of materials
- Segregate, record, and update the status of customer returned products
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform other duties as required by Team Leaders or Manager
Requirements
- Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle
- Must have good punctuality and reliability
- Must have warehouse dispatch experience and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including early morning and evening shifts
- Should have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be a confident team player with excellent communication skills
Working Conditions
This is a temporary 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.13 per hour (PAYE).
