Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes, working on a temporary contract with our agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a range of treatments, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and IM/SC injections.
  • Work independently, using your expertise and judgment to make decisions about patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy is essential.
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience.
  • Driving Licence.
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience).
  • Mileage expenses.
  • Monday to Friday role - approx. 8 hrs per day - working 4 or 5 days per week.
  • No bank holiday working.
