Job Title: Fundraising and Grants Officer

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time (14 hours)

Location: Bristol

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to lead our grant fundraising activities, enabling us to continue helping meet the needs of our local community.

  • You will be responsible for maintaining and growing our grant funding from institutions, trusts, foundations, and other grant-making organisations.
  • With a strong track record of successful bid writing, you will research potential funders, maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities, and prepare regular performance reports for our Director and Trustees.
  • Your focus will be on securing grants to support our community work, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our services.
Key Responsibilities:

Grant Research and Writing: Identify and pursue grant opportunities, writing compelling bids that meet the needs of our community.

Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to secure grants and maintain relationships with funders.

Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare regular reports on our service delivery, monitoring and evaluating our impact to inform future grant applications.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our Director, Trustees, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven track record of successful grant writing and fundraising.

Skills: Strong research and writing skills, ability to build relationships with funders, and experience with grant management software.

Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Personal Qualities: Passionate about community work, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
