We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Policy Officer to support our team in developing policies and processes at the heart of judicial recruitment.

As a Policy Officer, you will work closely with our Policy Advisors and Selection Exercise Teams to ensure our shortlisting and interview materials are challenging, fair, and fulfill our statutory responsibilities.

You will be responsible for directly supporting a Senior Policy Advisor with selection exercise activity and supporting the wider Policy team where required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with reviews of selection material and taking forward internal policy work, such as providing policy advice and guidance to operational colleagues.
  • Ensuring the JAC's Selection Exercise Policy Guide and selection exercise templates are reviewed and revised as appropriate.
  • Maintaining appropriate logs noting progression of work and policy decisions.
  • Assisting in creating and leading on coordinating internal policy training and inductions.
