Job Overview:

Prospero Teaching is a leading provider of educational support services for individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who are disengaged from mainstream education.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tutor to join our team and provide Maths and English support to students with Autism and ADHD on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current ability of students and reintroduce education into their routine
  • Provide Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis
  • Work with students who have been out of education for some time and require support with core subjects
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package for students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and work outside of the box
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
