Night Operations Supervisor

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a committed Night Operations Supervisor to manage a high-performing production facility.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all operational management during the night shift, addressing human resources matters, equipment malfunctions, and providing guidance to team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure that all production tools, including pallets, utensils, and wash areas, are hygienically maintained and ready for each shift.
- Review and confirm the accuracy of all site documentation, including safety protocols, performance metrics, and incident reports at the conclusion of each shift.
- Supervise engineering breakdowns to guarantee the plant's readiness for subsequent shifts.
- Act as the primary contact for technical, engineering, production, and supply chain teams throughout the night shift.
- Conduct training and briefings for both new and existing staff, covering operational procedures and ensuring that company information is properly managed.
- Promptly report any instances of substandard manufacturing practices, health and safety issues, quality concerns, or food safety matters to senior management.
- Collaborate effectively with other senior management team members to enhance overall company performance.
- Ensure compliance with responsibilities related to food safety, quality assurance, and legal standards.
- Standard working hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM - 6 AM
- Participation in a pension scheme
- A minimum of three years of experience in personnel management, preferably within the food or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, coupled with effective planning and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated accountability, a passion for continuous improvement, and adaptability to evolving business needs.
- Possession of an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and IOSH Working Safely or equivalent qualifications.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills, along with computer literacy.
- Experience with batch and continuous processes, including knowledge of ingredient control, packaging, and waste management.
