Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to deliver expert technical guidance and support for our client's IT systems. This role involves overseeing the provision of technical services, ensuring the integrity of the organization's infrastructure, servers, systems, and communications at a third-line support level.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive technical expertise in a diverse range of Server, Storage, and Networking technologies at a 3rd Line Support level.
  • Proficient in Windows Servers, Virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience in supporting Cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience in a technical support environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and delivering presentations at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and effectively to staff across various levels.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills to present information logically.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to meet operational requirements.

Daily Responsibilities:

Technical Delivery:

  1. Provide third-line technical support to operational and project teams as needed.
  2. Utilize diagnostic tools to investigate and resolve complex issues, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  3. Execute intricate configuration and installation of server, storage, and communication platforms for routine operations or project requirements.
  4. Recommend and establish standards for configurations, tools, and products.
  5. Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including standards, security protocols, and configuration details.
  6. Employ management software and analytical tools to gather system statistics, assess performance, and generate improvement proposals.

Work Management:

  1. Serve as a reference point for inquiries related to incident and change management processes.
  2. Ensure resolution of incidents within established SLA targets.
  3. Oversee Change Requests from initiation to completion.
  4. Address customer complaints and escalate issues to management as necessary.

Note: Active SC Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
