Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our R&D team at Premier Group Recruitment. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing high-value and customized products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, PCBs, and schematics using Altium Designer, KiCAD, or similar ECAD packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop electro-mechanical machinery with a strong focus on electronic control systems.
  • Conduct bench testing, fault finding, and prototyping to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and electronics schematics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electronics design and development.

Requirements:

  • HNC/Diploma/Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or higher, or demonstrable ability through experience.
  • 3-5+ years minimum industry experience in electronics design and development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Desirable Skills:

  • Mechanical design and development using Solidworks or similar.
  • Metrology experience.
  • Motor types and their control.
  • Product safety and regulatory requirements, including EMC, ESD, LVD, and CE Marking.
