Job Description

At JEM Childcare Solutions, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our Finance Team. This role will report directly to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Banking:
    • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepare and submit short-term cash-flow forecasts on a weekly basis.
    • Verify and reconcile debtors on Family and Xero, ensuring customer accounts are accurately allocated.
    • Generate payment runs for approval by the Head of Finance as required.
    • Ensure all transactions are supported by invoices, unless agreed upon by the Head of Finance.
  • Other Duties:
    • Assist in responding to audit queries related to areas of responsibility.
    • Support the development and implementation of projects impacting treasury activities.
    • Assist with payroll activities and provide administrative support to the finance team.
    • Support the purchase ledger with posting, ordering, and inbox management as needed.
    • Perform other duties and ad-hoc reporting/analysis tasks as required.
