Girlguiding is seeking a Trusts and Statutory Manager to become a vital part of our accomplished Fundraising team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with a high-performing, supportive group while overseeing substantial funding relationships.

Position Overview

In this role, you will spearhead trust and statutory fundraising initiatives at Girlguiding, implementing strategies aimed at diversifying and expanding our portfolio of trusts, foundations, and statutory funders. These revenue streams are crucial for our organization, having significantly increased in recent years. You will manage a funding portfolio exceeding £4 million, including our largest contributors, and further this promising growth throughout the team. Your position will empower you to collaborate across the organization, crafting proposals that enhance support for girls and young women throughout the UK.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee relationships with key funders, ensuring exceptional stewardship and engagement.
  • Contribute to and expand a well-established donor portfolio, preparing high-quality proposals that align with Girlguiding's mission and vision.
  • Proactively seek out potential supporters who can assist in empowering girls and young women.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the executive and senior leadership teams, recognizing the significance of stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide thoughtful leadership and direct management to two team members, fostering their development and enhancing your own leadership skills.
