As a Principal Transport Planner, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships while exploring new business opportunities
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of junior Transport Planners
  • Delegating tasks to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery
  • Overseeing the creation of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans, while also contributing directly when necessary
  • Managing site access and preliminary junction design utilizing AutoCAD
  • Supervising GIS mapping software
  • Enhancing junction modeling skills using Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY)
  • Participating in both internal and external training sessions and design meetings

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in a planning consultancy or a robust background in project delivery.
