Job Title: Clinical Assessor

Merco Medical is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Clinical Assessor, you will conduct health assessments and write reports on behalf of the DWP.

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, with occasional visits required in your local assessment centre. You will have the opportunity to work full-time or part-time, depending on your preference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent health assessments on the impact of claimants' physical and mental health conditions.
  • Write reports for the DWP, using your critical reasoning skills and clinical expertise.
  • Use your broad-based medical experience and clinical knowledge to ensure that your part in the assessment process is positive, dignified, and professional.
Requirements:
  • At least one year's post-NMC/HCPC registration work experience working with people aged 16 to 64.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a competent user of IT.
