About the Role

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Level 3 Teaching Assistants, providing SEND support to children aged 3-19 in our Sheffield schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for education and a willingness to learn, to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals 1:1 or as classroom support throughout the day
  • Manage behaviour, support completion of assigned work, and help with socialisation and overcoming social barriers
  • Work with children who may have profound and multiple learning difficulties, requiring care and support
Requirements
  • Background in education or a passion to learn
  • Experience working with children, either personally or professionally
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Flexibility to travel to different school settings
  • Background in care is desirable, but not essential
