About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our management team at Spencers Wood Day Nursery in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership to all staff members and maintaining the highest standards of care and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve the nursery's goals and objectives
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years Education and Care
  • Experience of working in a nursery or similar setting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
