Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Program Director to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Early Years program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for our young campers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Design and deliver a comprehensive Early Years program that meets the needs of our 4- and 5-year-old campers.
    • Develop and maintain a high-quality program that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage and promotes learning and development.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of Early Years staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-quality childcare experience.
    • Coordinate and direct the activities of the Early Years team to ensure a smooth and efficient program delivery.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Act as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates and feedback on their child's progress.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks
    • Manage administrative tasks related to the Early Years program, including registration, sign-in/out, and other related duties.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks, maintaining high standards of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
    • Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality childcare programs.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents, staff, and children.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances.
    • Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 hour or 6 hour) qualification, or be willing to obtain one.
