About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Leicester Cancer Research Centre as an Associate Professor/Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and clinicians, contributing to translational and clinical cancer research with national and international impact.

As a high-calibre clinician/scientist, you will have a strong research profile and a proven track record of generating research income. You will be expected to develop a programme of high-quality research, enhancing impact activity and collaborating with other themes within the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.

You will also be responsible for supervising a team of researchers and contributing to teaching delivery within the College. In addition, you will deliver clinical medical oncology services at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
