NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and motivated registered nurse to join our ENT service as a Nurse Endoscopist. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a Nurse Endoscopist, working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including flexible nasal endoscopy, with minimal supervision.
- Develop and maintain expertise in ENT nursing, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the ENT service.
- First-level registered nurse with a minimum of 6 years post-registration experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in ENT nursing, acquired through exposure on the ward, in ENT theatres, or from a Clinical Nurse Practitioner/Specialist role.
- Desirable: Non-Medical Prescriber qualification, previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner/Specialist in ENT, and excellent communication skills.
