Role Overview

As a Cloud Network Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and high-performance network infrastructures. You will work closely with the Platform Engineering team to ensure network stability and security across our cloud and on-premises environments. You'll also help drive our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, and manage cloud networking environments, with a focus on Azure.
  • Implement and maintain cloud network infrastructure, firewalls, and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Troubleshoot network issues and ensure the security of cloud services.
  • Automate network configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Work with VPN technology and site-to-site connectivity.
  • Collaborate across teams to enable seamless service delivery.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience in Switching/Routing (Ideally CCNA/JNCIA level).
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls and Layer 7 policy implementations.
  • Strong experience with Azure load balancer technologies and cloud-native services.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Scripting and automation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Microsoft AZ-104 and/or AZ-700 certifications desirable.
