Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery, including troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns, performing planned preventative maintenance, and undertaking project work such as new installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all production machinery, including electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory
  • Combat and resolve breakdowns and machinery problems
  • Work through planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Undertake project work such as new installations
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations

Requirements:

  • Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above
  • Good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, etc.
  • Multi-skilled across electrical and mechanical issues, with additional electronics skills, especially fault finding to component level, being highly desirable
  • Proactive, self-starter work attitude and ability to be flexible with start and finish times when necessary
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety instructions and the Health and Safety manual and relevant engineering standards
