Senior Estimator Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for taking ownership of opportunities from the initial enquiry stage through to the handover with the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate closely with in-house engineering and delivery teams to craft detailed and effective tender proposals.
  2. Engage in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) during the early stages of prospective projects.
  3. Coordinate design efforts for Design & Build (D&B) contracts.
  4. Prepare estimates and develop compelling tender submissions to secure new work.
  5. Present geotechnical solutions to potential clients, clearly communicating their value and benefits.
Requirements:
  1. Ideally, 5+ years of experience in the specialist ground engineering field.
  2. Strong understanding of geotechnical principles.
  3. Proven experience in estimating packages related to piling, slope stabilization, ground anchoring, or grouting.
  4. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues, prospective clients, external consultants, and other industry professionals.
  6. Experience in estimating from first principles.
