Renewable Energy Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative energy-saving solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Lead Engineer and other colleagues to design and implement renewable energy systems that reduce carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of energy-saving solutions and provide assistance from initial idea to final stages of development.
- Develop solutions to energy and water efficiency upgrade challenges, including ground source heat pump and air source heat pump systems, district and communal heating systems, and solar photovoltaic installations.
- Assist with site surveys and building reports for solution development, produce and design calculations for different projects, and ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
- Conduct energy modelling and savings calculations, assist in optimising design processes, and ensure all aspects of new and ongoing projects are in line with up-to-date best practice industry standards.
- Experience of designing renewable energy heating systems or building services related designs is preferable.
- Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD and Revit is preferable.
- Engineering-related degree such as Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services (related degrees will be considered).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to clients, good time management skills, and experience with MS Office (Excel and Word).
