Principal Quality Consultant

Position Overview:
The role of a Senior Quality Consultant is pivotal in ensuring that the construction sector adheres to the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a professional with outstanding interpersonal skills and the capability to navigate complex challenges while managing a diverse portfolio of commercial entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a designated case load of Training Providers, Colleges, Manufacturers, and Employers, collectively known as the 'Training Provider Network', to implement and uphold CITB's quality assurance framework.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the quality assurance strategy, identifying high-risk entities within the network to mitigate risks associated with non-compliance, malpractice, and fraud.
- Conduct comprehensive audits, reporting findings, and managing non-conformances in alignment with the established quality assurance strategy.
- Facilitate the onboarding and approval processes for training organizations seeking to join CITB's 'Training Provider Network', ensuring they meet quality assurance standards.
- Plan and execute sampling activities related to assessments, training, and testing to assure construction employers of the reliability and quality of training delivery.
- Perform due diligence and review applications for trainers, testers, and assessors to ensure compliance with scheme requirements.
- Deliver constructive feedback to key personnel at training centers, contributing to a robust quality assurance program and recommending necessary actions for non-compliant centers.
- Prepare clear and concise written reports for stakeholders, providing guidance and insights related to CITB products.
- Engage in knowledge sharing regarding best practices and areas for improvement during standardization meetings and training sessions.
Work Environment:
This position may offer flexibility, allowing for remote work on occasion. CITB is committed to fostering a diverse workforce that reflects the society we serve, and we encourage applications from individuals from underrepresented groups.
