Exciting Opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support one of the UK's top facilities management firms. This role involves providing essential maintenance services across various sites.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the upkeep of facilities while optimizing operational costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Maintenance: Conduct routine and reactive maintenance across multiple disciplines.
  • Plumbing Services: Address plumbing issues including unblocking drains, repairing leaks, and maintaining sanitary fixtures.
  • Building Repairs: Perform repairs on roofs, walls, and flooring, ensuring all areas are safe and functional.
  • Painting and Decorating: Carry out minor painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities.
  • External Works: Manage car park and yard maintenance, including the upkeep of roller shutters.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience in commercial property maintenance, especially within the retail sector, is highly desirable. A strong background in plumbing is essential.
