Priory Wareham is seeking a skilled Maître d' to lead our front-of-house service team. As a pivotal member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless service standards. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing reservations, including making, adjusting, and cancelling customer bookings
* Leading a team of waitstaff to provide efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating
* Greeting customers and guiding them to their tables
* Responding to customer inquiries regarding food, drinks, and specials
* Resolving customer complaints or disputes
Requirements:
* At least five years of experience in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment
* Proven organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to deliver unwelcome news to customers tactfully
