High-Speed Analog Circuit Design Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer to join IC Resources, a successful and expanding company working on high-speed transceivers in advanced technology nodes.

Based in Reading, UK, you will be responsible for developing block-level specifications, modeling, design, and verification of very high-speed Analog circuits.

You will be involved in supporting customer requirements, design specifications, and product delivery, as well as supporting IP and chip-level integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout of high-speed circuits, including oscillators, phase-locked loops, delay-locked loops, and other fundamental building blocks
  • Expertise in the design and verification of Analog circuits, preferably using the Cadence Virtuoso environment
  • Experience with EDA tools for simulation, parasitic extraction, electromagnetic modeling, EM/IR, and reliability analysis
  • Self-motivated and a strong team player with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and complete designs to schedule using defined design process flows

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Analog IC Design, ideally in multi-gigabit serial data-link transceivers (SerDes) or RF multi-tone designs
  • Expertise in finFET technology nodes and experience using Ocean, MDL, or equivalent to automate Analog design verification
  • Skilled in the design of high-speed Analog SerDes circuits, including DFT, DFM, and ESD protection
  • Understanding of layout approaches and design techniques used for high-speed and high-precision circuits
