About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Rosebank House, a 24-hour specialist care and support service for people with severe and enduring mental health needs.

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas.

You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the service are spotless and deliver high-standard cleaning services.

We offer a range of benefits, including annual salary of \u00a232,692.50, equivalent of 33 days annual leave, free meals and parking, wellbeing support and activities, career development and training, pension contribution, life assurance, and enhanced maternity package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures.
  • Being an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
  • Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Helping create a positive culture.
  • Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
  • Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
  • Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done.
  • Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Be a good communicator.
  • Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

About the Service

Rosebank House is a modern, purpose-built home with 13 en-suite bedrooms, specifically designed with facilities to fully prepare patients for independence in the community.

The focus of the service is on independent living skills as well as social inclusion, education, and employment engagement.

There are close links with the local community for residents to access local college, work placements, and amenities.
