Farm and Land Management Programme Manager

We are seeking a skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Northumberland National Park Authority. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting farmers and landowners in accessing funding streams, building climate change and Brexit resilience, and creating networks to support each other.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and allocate programme funding to support farmers and landowners in achieving environmental improvement and habitat connectivity.
  • Work with partners to deliver collaborative projects, leveraging expertise and resources to drive positive change.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, landowners, and grant funders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to farmers and landowners on agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
  • Contribute to the development of policy and strategy to support the delivery of our programme objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in programme management, with a focus on environmental sustainability and land management.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural and forestry land management policy and grant schemes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, and GIS applications.
