About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join our prestigious law firm, QED Legal. As a key member of our Conveyancing Department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely completion and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of conveyancing transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership sales and purchases.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering legislation, CQS requirements, and SRA compliance obligations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in conveyancing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and meet KPIs and SLAs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a conveyancing fee earner role.
  • Confidence in dealing with leasehold, new build, and shared ownership sales and purchases.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, and Online SDLT.
  • Strong technical ability in conveyancing transactions and comprehensive knowledge of SRA compliance obligations.
  • Good keyboard/IT skills and ability to work using own initiative.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a bias for action with an ability to multi-task and pivot while working on varying deadlines and scopes.
