Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services to support internal stakeholders and business unit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate and maintain supply chain avenues to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Work closely with Engineering and Production colleagues to analyze engineering Bills of Materials (BoMs) and implement robust supply chain solutions.
- Define, negotiate, and implement strategies at part/commodity or service level to secure appropriate commercial and contractual terms.
- Establish structured and regular Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Maintenance (QCDMT) reviews with assigned suppliers to drive improvement plans.
- Support stakeholder requirements for new customer bids through a structured process and develop strategies to expand technological advancements in support of customer requirements.
- Experience in purchasing/procurement within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with hands-on experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and more.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
