About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Chestnut Manor Care Home in Wanstead, East London.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their dignity and independence, and helping them live happy and healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive a nutritious and enjoyable dining experience
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans and strategies

About You

We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, empathy, and respect for others. You will have:

  • A caring nature and positive attitude
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable, but not essential
  • The right to live and work in the UK
