About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to join our team at LiveWest, a leading provider of affordable housing in the South West. As a Lettings Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing referrals for our Supported Housing Young People's team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming referrals to the service, ensuring efficient and compassionate allocation of resources.
  • Triage and allocate referrals based on client need, utilizing a strength-based approach to determine the most suitable placement.
  • Accurately record client information on our internal systems, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding protocols.
  • Respond to enquiries from service users, professionals, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
  • Signpost to alternative support services where appropriate, ensuring seamless referrals and minimizing duplication of effort.
  • Carry out readiness assessments for new applicants, utilizing a strength-based approach to determine suitability for our services.
  • Liaise with partner agencies throughout the referral process, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Minute taking for multi-agency meetings with professionals, maintaining accurate records and facilitating informed decision-making.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Excellent administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Understanding or experience of issues surrounding young people and/or homelessness, with a strong awareness of associated risk management.
  • Resilience and ability to be open and responsive to the changing needs of young people and commissioners of the service.
  • Lone work safety and ability to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality protocols.
