We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Defence and Strategic projects division in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex civil engineering projects within the Defence and Strategic markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements, particularly those specific to Defence and Strategic sectors.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong understanding of construction and contract law.
  • Experience in managing projects in highly regulated environments.
