Job Summary:

Vanta Staffing Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing local multi-drop delivery work for our client based in the Thatcham area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a HGV vehicle safely and efficiently, completing multi-drop deliveries (6-10 drops) as required.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing delivery schedules and routes.
  • Meet the requirements of a Class 2 Driver, including a valid CPC and digital tachograph.
  • Hold a valid driving license with no more than 6 points (no DR or IN endorsements).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 months of recent HGV driving experience (Cat C) is preferred, but newly passed drivers will be required to undergo an assessment.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £16 per hour.
  • Monday to Friday working hours, with a start time of 06.00 – 07.00am.
  • Ongoing work with the opportunity for consistent hours.
