Key Responsibilities:- Manage a full caseload of industrial disease claims from inception to settlement, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations, prepare legal documents, and liaise with medical experts to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Progress cases efficiently through the litigation process, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant statutory legislation, case law, and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Provide excellent client care, keeping clients informed and updated on the progress of their cases and offering sound legal advice.
- Collaborate with other team members to support the overall objectives of the department and firm.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience managing industrial disease claims, with strong litigation experience and a comprehensive understanding of industrial disease law.
- Detailed knowledge of statutory legislation and relevant case law, with familiarity with CPR and the ability to work independently in managing a caseload.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to manage a busy caseload.
