The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Shift Manager to lead our production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring optimal performance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of 50 production staff across 4-5 production lines
- Develop, coach, and upskill team members to meet and exceed their potential
- Oversee production operations, including quality control, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Handle key HR responsibilities, including performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and Return to Work (RTW) processes
- Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Production Shift Manager in high-care food manufacturing
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality control procedures
