Liberty Private Care is seeking a dedicated RESIDENTIAL CAREGIVER to support a client in need. The compensation for this role is £959/week for providing care to an individual with a spinal condition. The schedule consists of one week on, three weeks off, with potential additional opportunities for local hourly care visits.
Role Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you will receive comprehensive support from our management team and an on-call service, ensuring guidance is available whenever necessary. Regular supervisory visits will be conducted to provide assistance and support. Prior to commencing your role, you will undergo paid training, including shadowing to familiarize yourself with the client’s needs.
During your residency, your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, administering medications, accompanying the client to community activities, preparing meals and beverages, performing household tasks, and most importantly, providing companionship and engaging in activities that enhance the client's quality of life.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a regulated care environment (such as hospitals, nursing homes, or domiciliary care). The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, adaptability, and a compassionate nature. An NVQ in Health & Social Care is preferred, as is experience with mobility vehicles.
