Job Title: Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Orthopaedic Occupational Therapist to join our team on an ongoing locum contract. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Acute Orthopaedics, ideally with trauma experience, and hold a degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients on the Trauma and Orthopaedic ward.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support junior staff and students in their professional development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Acute Orthopaedics, with trauma experience preferred.
  • Full HCPC registration and a degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc or BSc).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
