Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at United Living Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver the project.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project.
  • Ensure that all project activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including project schedules, budgets, and quality control documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including commercial, operations, and HR, to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other external partners.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and financial principles, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
  • Ability to review, challenge, and support contractors' RAMS.
  • IT literate, with experience of using project management software.
  • SMSTS / SSSTS / CSCS certification.
  • NVQ 6 or 7 desirable.
  • Considerate Constructor scheme experience.
