Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modelling Specialist to join our Publication Operations team. As a Data Modelling Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline, gaining an in-depth understanding of the availability and publication of key data domains, and coordinating with engineers and product strategists to provide Logical Data Model information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the data model through our data pipeline, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the availability and publication of key data domains, including firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures.
  • Coordinate with engineers and product strategists to provide Logical Data Model information, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
  • Document and gather requirements from the business, ensuring data model governance operational workflow is followed.
  • Maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related major.
  • 3+ years of professional Data Operations experience, particularly focusing on data models.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills to help management understand and visualize complex material.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues regarding managing large data sets.
  • Experience with Data Modelling tools, SQL, and Python.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture and NoSQL frameworks.
