Smart Teachers is seeking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Primary Educator to join our esteemed independent school specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) education.


This institution is committed to providing a supportive learning environment for students facing various challenges, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language Difficulties, ADHD, and Severe Social Anxieties.


Our approach emphasizes a nurturing educational experience, complemented by a multidisciplinary therapy team that utilizes play, music, drama, art, and family and Lego therapy to enhance student development.


The curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and adaptable, catering to the unique needs of each student while fostering their interests and skills.

Students are educated within a nurturing framework, benefiting from high staff-to-student ratios that facilitate personalized learning experiences.


Key Responsibilities:
The SEMH Educator will lead a classroom of 7 students, supported by 3 Teaching Assistants to reinforce learning outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for fostering the development of SEN students.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to the school's evolving needs.
  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
